Scuds Gammarus - $15 (Roosevelt Island)

Scuds are scavengers feeding on any type of detritus, plants, leftover pet food and such. The baby scuds enjoy feeding on common green algae. And fish, newts, frogs and many other aquatic pets feed on scuds.
Simple care and great all year around reproduction rate makes scuds perfect source of live food for your pets!
For $15 you get 30 plus scuds of different size/age in 16oz plastic container. I will make sure you get more than 30 scuds that should be enough to setup a new colony or two.
Isopods move constantly making it hard to count them. Please do not ask me to count or sort scuds by size. Check pictures for getting a better idea.
Also note that the pictures in this post are only for an example.
