I purchased this old Singer machine and base which is stamped made in Great Britain. In the 1930's some of the bases changed design from all cast iron to steel & cast iron. It has an Art Deco. perhaps even an Industrial look going on. This needs a new home and would make a fantastic and unique table, desk or TV stand.
