High-volume Italian restaurant in Midtown Manhattan with private dining, deliveries, and a busy nightly service. We’re looking for motivated, experienced professionals who thrive under pressure and elevate the team.
Position 1: Sous Chef (Full Time)
What you’ll do:
Expedite a very busy kitchen, manage tickets, and keep service smooth and timely.
Lead by example while following the Executive Chef’s command and culinary vision.
Maintain standards for quality, consistency, sanitation, and organization.
Train, coach, and motivate line staff; support prep and service as needed.
What you bring:
10+ years professional kitchen experience (Italian cuisine strongly preferred).
Proven expediting chops and calm, decisive leadership during peak volume.
Team-first communication, reliability, and a solutions mindset.
Position 2: Line Cook — Pasta & Sauté (Full Time)
What you’ll do:
Execute fresh pasta cookery and sauté stations to spec during high-volume service.
Maintain mise en place, station cleanliness, and consistent plating.
Support prep, stock, and close with a disciplined, team-oriented approach.
What you bring:
Solid experience on pasta and sauté in Italian kitchens.
Speed, accuracy, and pride in clean, organized work.
Strong communication and reliability.
