Responsibilities:
• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and portioning ingredients
• Assist with menu planning and recipe development
• Follow standardized recipes and ensure consistency in food quality
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely service
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Prep Cook or similar role in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Culinary degree or certification is a plus
