Seeking COOK for a busy neighborhood bar with small staff and moderate American menu. Prep and line cook experience is recommended to man our one person kitchen. You must work clean, be organized, punctual, a team player and have the ability to remain calm under pressure. This currently is a part time position as we are re-opening the kitchen after almost a year of it being closed.
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 2 years experience, preferably working alone in a small kitchen
- knowledge of how to do inventory and FIFO to ensure kitchen efficiency
- NY Health Department Certificate a plus
-responsible for executing the full menu including prep, cooking, cleaning.
-prep large platters for holiday parties and large reservations
