We’re looking for an experienced and dependable Lead Cook to take charge of the line and help lead our kitchen team in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. If you’re organized, confident, and passionate about executing quality dishes with consistency, we want to hear from you.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a lead or senior line cook role
Valid NYC Food Handler’s License
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to delegate and maintain smooth service during high volume
Familiar with NYC food health code standards and kitchen safety protocols
Punctual, reliable, and team-focused
🧑‍🍳 Responsibilities:
Lead the line during service and ensure consistent food quality
Assign tasks and support line cooks and prep staff as needed
Ensure all prep is completed for each shift and stations are fully stocked
Monitor station inventory and communicate restock or order needs
Maintain kitchen cleanliness and uphold NYC DOH compliance
This is a key role in a high-volume, upscale restaurant/lounge where quality and timing matter. Evening availability are essential, and leadership experience is a must.
