Full service Mexican restaurant is looking for an experienced bartender/server to work 3 shifts — possibly more down the line — on Saturdays (5pm to 2/4am), Sundays (5pm-1am), and Mondays (likely 5pm to 1am).
We're a small, family-like team, and the ideal candidate will essentially work a hybrid bartender-server job, which means making cocktails, but also taking orders, running dishes, re-stocking the bar, cleaning, running downstairs for ice, etc.
We're looking for a person who's experienced, passionate about spirits, making consistent cocktails — if you never used a jigger in your previous jobs, this is not the place for you — friendly, loves talking to new customers while keeping up with old ones, and — most importantly — is responsible.
Note: this is a very physical job, and you're expected to carry fairly heavy cases of beer, liquor, ice, cups, etc through a large basement, and up the stairs. Also, expect to spend around one hour running through cleaning procedures each night after closing (wiping down the bar, tables, liquor well, bottles, re-stocking juices, running everything through the dishwasher, etc).
We're highly inclusive, welcome applicants from all walks of life, and expect you to be professional, and respectful to other co-workers.
Spanish speakers, DOH/Food Protection certificate holders, and Toast users will be moved to the front of the line.
Please send a resume, your availability, and write a short paragraph about yourself, if your resume doesn't have one. We're looking to hire someone as soon ASAP.
