Industry Kitchen—one of the Seaport’s most iconic waterfront restaurants—is looking for high-energy, people-loving, NYC-savvy personalities to join our team as an Outdoor Host / Street Ambassador.
If you love the buzz of the Seaport, enjoy meeting people from all over the world, and can confidently guide guests to the hottest dining spot on the waterfront… we want you on our team.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
As our Outdoor Host / Street Ambassador, you will be the face of the restaurant—stationed outside near the Seaport’s high-foot-traffic areas to engage tourists and locals and encourage them to dine with us.
Your responsibilities include:
Greeting and welcoming passersby with a warm, upbeat, confident demeanor
Promoting Industry Kitchen’s food, drinks, and waterfront location
Answering basic menu & reservation questions
Directing guests to check-in with the internal host stand
Managing lines and flow during peak hours
Supporting the host team with guest updates
Maintaining a polished, professional appearance at all times
This role requires strong communication skills, outgoing energy, and the ability to represent the brand with hospitality first—never pushy, always welcoming.
