**Baker / Cook**
We’re looking for a Baker / Cook to join our café kitchen and help make thoughtful, handmade food each day. This role centers on preparing breakfast sandwiches, building our house-made focaccia sandwiches, and supporting light baking and daily prep.
We’re seeking someone who enjoys working with their hands, values good ingredients, and takes pride in simple food made well. The right person is steady, dependable, and comfortable moving between prep, cooking, baking, and keeping a clean, organized kitchen.
**What you’ll do**
* Prepare breakfast sandwiches with care and consistency
* Build house-made focaccia sandwiches using fresh, prepped ingredients
* Assist with light baking, including daily baked goods and kitchen prep
* Follow recipes and prep methods while maintaining quality and consistency
* Help keep the kitchen clean, organized, and well stocked
* Support daily opening and closing kitchen tasks
* Work closely with the team to create food that feels welcoming, seasonal, and well made
**What we’re looking for**
* Experience in a kitchen, bakery, or café is preferred, but not required
* An appreciation for handmade food, good ingredients, and simple preparation
* Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
* Ability to work efficiently and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
* Dependability, punctuality, and a willingness to learn
* Someone who values craft, hospitality, and being part of a small team
**Schedule**
* Part-time or full-time
* Early mornings and weekend availability may be needed
