Eileen’s Special Cheesecake, a New York City favorite for over 50 years, is looking for a hardworking, reliable Porter to join our bakery team. The Porter keeps our kitchen and workspace spotless, organized, and running smoothly.
Responsibilities include:
• Cleaning and sanitizing floors, bathrooms, equipment, and work areas throughout the day
• Washing baking tools, trays, and utensils
• Assisting with prep (toppings, cookies, crust prep etc.)
• Organizing basement storage and maintaining inventory
• Taking out garbage and recycling nightly
• Maintaining sidewalk and shop cleanliness
Requirements:
• Experience in kitchen cleaning or porter work preferred
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay on your feet for long periods
