Eileen’s Special Cheesecake is seeking a Baker’s Assistant to with prep/line cook experience to join our iconic NYC bakery.
Job Duties:
• Prep and produce baked goods (mixing, measuring, unmolding, etc.)
• Keep kitchen clean (equipment, dishes, sanitizing, sweeping/mopping)
• Assist fulfilling orders
• Help with inventory
• Follow all safety/sanitation rules
• Able to lift, stand, bend, and work in a busy kitchen environment
Requirements:
• 1+ year bakery or food-service experience
• Willingness to learn, reliable, and team-oriented
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay on your feet for long periods.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
• Available for morning shifts 7am-3pm, weekends and holidays are a must
• Spanish speaking a big plus!
