Iām looking for 4ā6 reliable people to help wheatpaste promotional flyers around New York City for an upcoming Kickstarter launch for a new pet-product invention, The Indoor Catio Pet Balcony. THIS IS FOR TONIGHT. STARTING AT MIDNIGHT.
In a Nutshell:
Wheatpasting is a method of adhering paper posters or artworks to walls and other surfaces in public spaces using a homemade adhesive paste, traditionally made from wheat flour and water. It's a classic, low-cost technique used for street art, advertising, propaganda, and subversive messaging.
You will be part of a small, organized team wheatpasting small format paper posters on approved surfaces using the wheatpasting method. This is NOT handing out flyers or door-to-door marketing. THIS IS FOR STICKING SMALL POSTERS ON STREET LAMPS AND OTHER ALLOWED SURFACES IN THE CITY

ā¢ Task: Wheatpasting 2000 printed flyers in high-traffic areas
ā¢ Location: Various NYC neighborhoods (Manhattan, Brooklyn,)
ā¢ Compensation: Paid
ā¢ Requirements:
ā Must be comfortable working outdoors
ā Must be dependable and able to follow a simple route plan
ā Prior wheatpasting or street-team experience is a plus but not required
$20hr
$80ā$120 per shift (3ā5 hours)
About the Project:
This work is for the promotion of my Kickstarter campaign for a new window-mounted pet balcony designed for small pets who need sunlight, fresh air, and safe outdoor space.
Meet at a designated prep point to receive materials (posters, paste, brushes).
Travel efficiently as a team to specific target locations (alleys, construction barriers, designated walls, street lamps, Street kiosks).
Professionally and cleanly apply posters using wheatpaste technique for maximum durability and visual impact.
Work quickly, quietly, and maintain a low profile.
I HAVE ADDED SOME SAMPLE IMAGES. JUST TO BE CLEAR, MY POSTERS ARE NOWHERE NEAR THAT BIG AND DISRUPTIVE AS THE ONES IN THE IMAGES. IT IS LITERALLY 8X11. I JUST NEED TO PUT ENOUGH OUT TO BRING AWARENESS TO MY KICKSTARTER TO GET BACKERS.
