Seeking Drapery Artist / Fabric Designer for Custom Installations (Manhattan)

Examples of what I’m looking for:
• Elegant, cascading folds and swooshes (see sample photo references).
• Layered, pleated designs that add depth and texture.
• Dramatic fabric installations for walls, stages, and tables.
• Ability to work with different fabrics (satin, velvet, polyester, etc.).
The project(s):
• Backdrop designs for branded events and activations.
• Decorative draping for tables, walls, and staging.
• Must be able to bring creative ideas and execute them with a polished, professional finish.
Important Note:
We own all of the drapery fabric — we just need an artist who can design and install it creatively.
We will provide the designs, and the artist must be able to create them to our specifications.
Requirements:
• Experience in drapery, fabric design, or event production.
• Strong eye for symmetry, layering, and creative fabric manipulation.
• Must have portfolio or photos of past work.
• Access to tools/supplies a plus (but can be provided if needed).
Compensation:
Pay is negotiable depending on skill and scope of the project. Please reply with:
