The Pro-Ject RM-5.1 SE is a manual belt-driven turntable with a fitted MC-cartridge (Sumiko Blue Point No. 2). Its resonance-optimized platter is made from MDF and features and integrated vinyl mat. The platter rests upon an MDF plinth with a suspended motor assembly optimized for low resonance and speed stability. The turntable incorporates a stainless steel axle that runs on a Teflon bearing plate in a bronze housing for lower wow-and-flutter and superior speed accuracy. A fixed headshell and 9" carbon fiber tone-arm with precision Swiss bearings and rigid carbon fiber arm tube provide superior tracking and cartridge control. Three-point aluminum cone feet further reduce noise and vibration.

Includes a Pro-Ject Speed Box S upgraded power supply which allows for changing the speed without taking the platter off and factory acrylic cover for the turntable. Turntable belt was replaced a year ago. Cartridge has some life left in it but should be replaced in the short term.
