I purchased this machine new a five months ago. I used only Poland springs bottled water in it (as per the manufacturer’s instructions) until a month ago. Then my housemate suggested checking the PH of the tap water which we did. And it turns out that was suitable so I used that.

I have it a regular monthly cleaning schedule.

I also take all the normal maintenance steps when using it. Flushing the group head before and after use. Wiping down the steam wand. Etc.
