This was an awesome Bose speaker with iPod dock but the dock mechanism broke off (see pics). Apparently this is a common issue and fixable with some work- I think there are kits out there, you can google it. I also bought a Bluetooth adapter (which still requires the dock to be fixed but thereafter you can use it without docking), see pics.
