We're an established creative group of 16 talented members with solid traction, and we're expanding our audio production capabilities with a skilled engineer who is passionate about sound.

π― What We're Looking For:
An Audio Engineer
Core Requirements:
-Proficient in Logic Pro or Pro Tools (or equivalent professional DAW)
-Strong understanding of plugins, signal processing, and audio routing
-Skilled in mixing, EQ, compression, and dynamic processing
-Experienced with vocal production, tuning, and editing
-Able to deliver near-master-ready productions with professional polish
Bonus Skills (Not Required):
-Mastering experience
-Beat production or sound design
-Live sound engineering
-Podcast production and editing
-Experience with different genres (hip-hop, R&B, pop, rock, etc.)
Technical Setup:
-Professional DAW of your choice
-Quality monitoring setup (headphones or speakers)
-Audio interface and reliable computer system
-Plugin library for mixing and effects

π Requirements:
-Location: Must be from NYC and able/comfortable to travel around all of New York City and the boroughs
-Intermediate+ skill level (we're not looking for super professionals!)
-Students, self-taught entrepreneurs, and hands-on learners are welcome if you feel your skill set covers the majority of work needed and you're knowledgeable enough to figure out what you don't know
-Reliable turnaround times and committed to quality
-Passion for developing your craft and staying current with audio trends
-Professional attitude, clear communication, and constructive feedback skills
-Ability to take creative direction while bringing your own expertise
We're happy to grow with our engineer and actively promote growth within our collective.
πΌ Compensation:
$500/month paid biweekly for a negotiated number of required sessions/hours based on your experience and availability.
-Payment schedule: Every two weeks
-Required sessions/hours are flexible and determined during the interview process
-We'll work with you to find a workload that matches your schedule and skill level
-Room for growth as the collective expands and takes on more projects

Q: How does the "exclusive engineer" model work? A: Think of yourself as our exclusive engineer. Collective members will be actively seeking to bring you more business and refer clients your way. You're part of the team, and we want to see you succeed.
Q: What genres do you primarily work with? A: We're primarily a hip-hop collective, but we need someone versatile enough to work across all genres.
Q: Can I still take on outside clients? A: Absolutely! We'll even help you find more clients. We'll work with you to keep everything organized and all workflows clean and on schedule.
Q: What's the payment method? A: Whatever works best for youβwe're flexible.
Q: Is there a contract? A: Not currently, but we're working on one and will present it before any major promotions. If you have concerns, bring them up during the interview and we can work something out.
