Hoping to renovate in a NYC co-op or condo but not sure where to start?
Want to improve on your rental without investing in a property you don't own?
Pretty sure you know what you want to do but not sure how to make it happen?
Much of the work of a renovation project in New York comes AFTER the fun part of design:
-Negotiating through a co-op or condo's (often cranky & onerous) management team;
-Dealing with the NYC Dept of Bldgs if nec;
-Finding a contractor and overseeing his work through to the end.
From design through construction, I handle every project personally and fastidiously.
Communication is key - from asking of the client, what are your needs? your budget? to responding promptly so that what seems like it should be a "small project" might be as painless as possible without sacrificing creativity.
From a single room to a full-scale gut renovation, I treat every project as potential for big changes - residential or small commercial.
Free initial phone or zoom consultation to discuss what your aims are, and determine if it looks to be a good fit for working together.
Then to a site-visit if nec, before I send you a proper, professional agreement for your consideration & approval, spelling out what steps the project will consist of and how the fee is structured.
These are not small details to be glossed over just because of splashy photos of completed projects, or a designer's "fabulous"-seeming personality!
