We’re building a mobile app that reveals the health, environmental, and ethical impact behind any product you scan—and we’re launching it with a guerrilla-style campaign.
The Job:
You’ll be traveling around NYC and Brooklyn to scout existing wild posting advertisements, take photos of them, and mark their locations. Then, using our app and Photoshop template, you’ll create a custom image that visually “hacks” the product shown in the ad with real data from our app.
Finally, you’ll wheatpaste the custom image (about 24" x 12", irregular shape) directly over the original ad—site-specific and product-matched.
You’ll be responsible for:
-Scouting/posting locations in high-traffic areas
-Photographing ads with the app (or finding online and then uploading image to app) to create output and logging locations
-Using Photoshop to create custom overlays (we’ll provide the template)
-Printing, cutting, and installing the posters with wheatpaste
-Managing your time and materials efficiently
Requirements:
-Photoshop skills
-A good eye for street ads and visual culture
-Comfort moving around the city and doing light physical work
-Huge bonus if you’ve done wheatpasting or street art before
This is a creative, fast-paced, very DIY role—perfect for someone who loves the street art world, activism, and clever marketing.
Should be a fun one.
