I am seeking a highly skilled Freelance Fashion Designer to collaborate on the initial collection for CLEXY, a burgeoning women’s line defined by the sophisticated blend of "Classy and Sexy" style.
As the Creative Director, I need a dedicated team to help me bring my visions to life. My goal is to create timeless staple pieces inspired by vintage silhouettes, focusing on garments that enhance the female form. I design for every facet of a woman’s life, from stylish streetwear to exquisite elegant gowns and accessories.
What We’re Looking For:
I need a versatile and detail-oriented designer who can translate my creative vision into polished, production-ready patterns and specifications. I already have my designs and sketches, but I need your expertise with the following:
• Patternmaking: Experience with both custom and standard sizing is a major plus.
• Technical Packs: Developing comprehensive tech packs for sampling and manufacturing.
• Versatility: Proven ability to design across different categories, from casual wear to formal evening wear. Or if you have a certain preference area you want to focus on, that’s OK too. I’m working with a team of different designers who specialize in different areas. Must be able to sew and have great seamstress in tailoring skills.
Project Details & Compensation:
• Initial Project: Design a cohesive debut collection of 10-15 pieces.
• Compensation: We offer a competitive rate structure, paying $50 - $500+ per garment design, depending on the complexity of the piece (e.g., a simple top vs. a fully structured gown).
• Ongoing Opportunity: This is not a one-time project. Successful collaboration will lead to ongoing freelance opportunities to design for our discerning, high-end clientele and future seasonal collections.
