I recently lost access to the place where I used to do basic woodworking (a house outside of the city), so I’m looking for access to a basic woodworking shop — hopefully in upper/west Manhattan, near Morningside Heights. This isn’t urgent, it’s more long-term for a few small projects I want to do. I’m a sensible, careful person (⛑️ SAFETY FIRST! 🦺) with a reasonable amount of experience — so I don’t need any hand-holding. (But if YOU have specific requirements about workshop safety, I’ll follow them. 👍🏼) And I don’t need any fancy tools, just things like a table saw, drill press, and a work surface or two, and every so often a little bit of storage for lumber. If there are any specialized tools I need, I probably have them; and if I have something you need, I’d be willing to share, of course. My schedule is VERY fliexible, which means I can work around yours. And, of course, I’m willing to pay a fair price. 💸 And — since this is an growing problem these days — I’m a true New Yorker, not a racist, sexist, homophobe, or any other BS like that.
