If you like your kitsch, it doesn't get better than this. Back before the internet, back before Duolingo, back before Rosetta Stone, learning a foreign language at home meant buying this kind of course, one that you could listen to on your portable record player or stereo system. In addition to 5 double sided flexi-discs you also received a slim Spanish textbook. The discs played on a 33⅓ lp player. Do they still play? Do you even own a phonograph? (I do!) Even if you don't, it's a fun look at a bygone past, and would make a fun gag gift for anyone you know who is trying to learn Spanish.
Mom collected antiques her entire life. She loved going to flea markets and thrift stores in search of hidden treasures. Mom actually used to have an antique store on Gramercy Park. Now that she has passed I am selling off those pieces from the store that she brought home after high rents forced her out of business.
Click on the "More ads by this user" link on the right to see all the antiques and other items I am selling.
