Condition: Good for a utilitarian object. Distressed areas are present notably at text above bottom rod with paper lifting from the surface (see photographs). Edges of work are worn as well. The plane of the work is uneven. There are paint losses on the rods and some rust or oxidation on the metal tangent extending from the top rod.
Observations: Its overall presentation is positive and particularly aesthetic and artistic compared to similar forms of didactic material. The color and form are challenging to photograph accurately. The colors broadly read as brown, green, yellow.
Note: The subject matter of mold seems amusingly fitting for home interiors.
