We are selling this vintage square, brass, Art Nouveau design ashtray, that was made for a business conference at The Hotel Astor in New York City in 1925. The ashtray measures 5 inches across. I can’t make out the corporate insignia, but it says, “61st Annual Convention Hotel Astor New York, Feb. 21, 1925.” This design of ashtrays were the first type of corporate “swag” as many companies used the base design and put their logo on them and dated them. It’s a great piece of antique vintage corporate swag and a nice memory from The Hotel Astor!!
