This is a scored program of game 3 of the 1976 World Series. Cincinnal defeated the New York Yankees 6 to 2, with Pat Zachry, being the winner pitcher and Doc Ellis the loser. Jim Mason of the Yankees became the first player to ever hit a World Series' home run in his only World Series' at bat!!! His home run was the only Yankee home run of what was to be a 4 game World Series sweep by the Reds.
This was the New York Yankee team that featured Mickey Rivers, Craig Nettles, Thurman Munson, Chris Chambliss, and Willie Randolph. The Big Red Machine had Pete Rose, Joe Morgan, George Foster, and Johnny Bench etc.
This publication has about 80 pages and is in great condition. It has an excellent history of the World Series, and individual pictures of the Yankees. Reds, Phillies, and Royals--the key playoff teams of that year, a World Series quiz, as well as other pictures, stats, and articles.
