This is a chance to own part of baseball history--a scorecard of the 1956 New York Giants prior to their move to San Francisco.

The program is in good condition, has been scored, and is from an August 17, 1956 game won by the Giants 5 to 3 over the Pittsburgh Pirates. In this game Willie Mays had a perfect day with a walk, two singles, and a home run. Daryl Spencer and Bill Sarni also homered for the Giants. Other notable players in the game were Red Schoendienst at second for the Giants and Dusty Rhodes in the outfield. Among the Pittsburgh players were Dick Groat, Roberto Clemente, and Bill Mazeroski. Joe Margoneri was the winning pitcher and Red Munger was the loser. Pitching in relief for Pittsburgh was Johnny O'Brien(whose twin brother, Eddie, was also on the team). Besides pitching, both twins were position players!!!

In the program, there are great ads, including one featuring Willie Mays. There is a picture of Manager Bil Rigney, an article about Whitey Lockman, lots of stats and other pertinent info.

I am located in the East 80s.
