Grounding Circle Hospitality is a growing boutique hospitality team focused on creating calm, thoughtful guest experiences — and a supportive, steady environment for our crew. We work with small teams, clear standards, and a strong sense of presence and responsibility. To us, hospitality is both an art and a discipline.
We run two boutique properties in Manhattan. We're hiring Hospitality Operations Associates for a hybrid role: 50% daily operations and guest service at the front desk, 50% operations depth in one of four tracks. You'll start in housekeeping and at the front desk to learn how the properties actually run, then grow into the track that fits you best.
The Structure
Month 1: Housekeeping Foundation
Everyone starts here. You learn how a room is prepared, inspected, and turned over — the real foundation of hospitality. This is non-negotiable. It's how you learn what quality looks like.
Months 2–3: Daily Operations & Guest Service Foundation
Check-ins, check-outs, guest communication, room readiness coordination, light operational support at the front desk. You become the steady presence that anchors the day — making sure the property runs smoothly and the crew moves together.
Month 3+: Hybrid Split (50% Daily Operations & Guest Service / 50% Track)
Once you're solid on the floor, you pick up a second focus. We'll match you to one of four tracks based on your strengths and interest:
1) Operations & Systems — AI adoption, workflow automation, SOP buildout, operations management
2) Building & Maintenance Care — Fire safety, building vendor coordination, preventive maintenance scheduling, room maintenance
3) Revenue & Pricing Analytics — Occupancy tracking, pricing analysis, RevPAR and finance reporting
4) Administration — HR coordination, compliance, accounting, bookkeeping/tax support
You don't need experience in your track — you need curiosity, care, and consistency. We train.
Who You Might Be
Calm, observant, detail-aware. Comfortable learning step by step. From hospitality, creative work, operations, admin — or something entirely different. No hotel experience required.
Why Work With Us
Small crew, direct access to leadership
Real growth path — the track isn't theoretical, it's how we structure the role
A culture that values learning the basics, not rushing past them
To Apply
Send your resume, a short note on why this role interests you, your availability (days + shifts), and — if you have a preference — which of the four tracks pulls you most.
