Up for sale is a 1896 Raleigh Technium model 460 frame, fork, generic headset only. Pictures of complete bike give you an idea of what it can look like.
This was Raleigh's "revolutionary" blending of an aluminum main triangle bonded to steel, in order to provide a light and lively ride. Other manufactures also did this during the same period. They were good frames, never had any bonding failures, but somehow never really took off in a big way. I found the ride quite comfortable and forgiving, it is just too big for me.
seat tube 62 cm c-c, top tube 56.5 cm c-c, chain stay 44, wheelbase 103. The numbers tell you it's built for comfort. You should be at least 6' tall for this one. You could build it up any way you want. Rear spacing is 126 for a classic 6 speed FW wheel.
Again...FRAME FORK AND HS ONLY. Cash and carry with meet up on UWS. Thanks
