This was once a beautiful Vintage New Haven Clock Co Mt Vernon Banjo Clock, manufactured during the early 1900's. Sadly, it fell off the wall, and so needs to be restored. The eagle that sits atop the clock and the small wooden bottom piece broke off, as did the minute hand. There is no pendulum. I don't know if this clock ever had one.
Having said all that, my question is, are there any clock hobbyists out there interested in purchasing this wonderful antique clock and restoring it to its former glory?
Back when I was a kid, while my mom was busy collecting and selling antiques, my dad bought, repaired, and sold old clocks. This is one such clock. Needless to say, you don't need to be a clock afficianado to admire this beauty. When my dad was alive the clock kept time. So I think all that is needed is some loving care.
My mom collected antiques her entire life. She loved going to flea markets and thrift stores in search of hidden treasures. Now that she has passed I am selling off her collection.
