The is a vintage 1960's General Electric Mickey Mouse alarm clock/radio. Most likely not Bakelite. Good condition, no cracks, although both top and bottom have the remains of very old tape that you should be able to clean off. For those of you who are too young to know, this is an AM tube radio. These radios did not come with antennas. What this means is that although the radio does work, it is not really meant to be listened to in the age of no-hiss digital sound. Nevertheless, both the clock and the radio do work. When the alarm goes off you get the radio, so be prepared.
Very collectible. Perfect for fans of retro memorabilia or Disney enthusiasts, this alarm clock/radio would make a unique and charming addition to any collection.
My mom collected antiques her entire life. She loved going to flea markets and thrift stores in search of hidden treasures. Now that she has passed I am selling off her collection.
