This is a lovely possibly Victorian possibly Bohemian Green Glass Jewelry Casket or Pill Container. I found similar items online with those descriptions. Some of the paint has worn off so it's hard to say what the original design looked like. But the clasp works fine. It's a nice piece. Don't let slip by.
