17th century weaving / 18th century Pont de Beauvais Tambour embroidery of gold thread, ribbons, rabbits, wild boar, peacocks, fountain, unicorn, cornucopia, Beaver eating a walnut on silk. This came off of a collar or pocket from a man's waist coat. A similar example is housed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and has outstanding vibrant colors in the silk thread which is all original.
