This AMAZING, one-of-a-kind folk art octagonal painting of a little girl holding a sea shell to her ear and hearing the ocean - Stunning! The look on this girl's face is RIVETING! I named her, "Shelly!"
This original folk art piece was painted on an old table-top! NOT a modern copy or transfer! The piece is in good but challenged condition. The frame could use some restoration too. You are buying this "As Is," the photos tell the whole story. Just look deep in her face; you can't look away! Not signed and no clear dating. It's any time you want it to be. I'd guess early 20th century.
The frame is 23.5" wide and high, the actual painting is 17.25" wide and high.
