A Caddo bowl of clay. Having Simms engraved forms on the upper areas; completely around the carinated bowl form.
ca. 800 A.D – 1200 A.D. The bottom is concave. Label on bottom states: "Caddo".
Diameter: 4 3/8 inches. Height: 2 1/8 inches.
Having a few chips on edge and hairline.
It is brown/tan color with areas of black from firing.
Having a glossy patina on the outside.

The Caddo people originally were located from east Texas through Louisiana, southern Oklahoma and Arkansas.
