You are viewing an antique, oil on canvas painting of a girl in a very ornate gilt frame. The painting is signed in red on the front, by Auguste Ludwig (1834-1901), a female listed German artist. It is framed and just the image measures 11 inches high by 8 1/2 inches wide and with the beautiful gilt frame, the whole piece measures 18 1/2 inches high by 16 inches wide and 2 1/2 inches deep. It’s in beautiful condition, with just a slight nick to the ornate gilt frame. It’s a great piece of art looking for a new home!!
