I love this charming little button-eyed (mohair?) covered teddy bear. I can't find any information about him, but how can you resist that face? As you can see from the photos, this little cutie has lost a bit of his fur. His arms and legs do not bend. He is not really soft, so he is not stuffed with cotton. Maybe paper? In any case, this is not really a child's toy, more of a collectible. Check out what similar bears sell for on Etsy. Some as much as three figures. So if you like collecting little plush animals like my mom did, this one is a rare affordable find. Don't let it get away.

Mom collected antiques her entire life. She loved going to flea markets and thrift stores in search of hidden treasures. Mom actually used to have an antique store on Gramercy Park. Now that she has passed I am selling off those pieces from the store that she brought home after high rents forced her out of business.
