I'm actually not sure what you'd call this item. Made in Japan. Might be a sugar dish. A seller on Etsy calls it a Butter Bell. Might be ... who knows. But it is interesting. A real conversation piece. In nice condition, despite the fracture on the top cover. (See Photos 1 and 5)

My mom collected antiques her entire life. She loved going to flea markets and thrift stores in search of hidden treasures. Now that she has passed I am selling off her collection.
