My mom, when she was alive, collected porcelainware. After she passed I discovered dozens of pieces, filling both her kitchen cabinets and her bedroom closet. This one is a beautiful example of the "oriental" design popular in the 19th century. Although the dish does have a slight hairline fracture (See Photo) and the white is exhibiting some browning, it is still a lovely piece.
My mom collected antiques her entire life. She loved going to flea markets and thrift stores in search of hidden treasures. Now that she has passed I am selling off her collection.
