8 pieces: 2 Nixon Glasses 2 Mugs Senate/Camp David; Clinton Candy Box - $59 (Midtown East)

East 52nd Street near 1st Avenue

(google map)

These are 8 historical items for any collector of political memorabilia. The two glasses are important souvenirs of the last international trip President Richard Nixon took before he resigned on August 8, 1974. Unused. You will never again see these items, outside of a museum.

*** I have added two mugs. One from Camp David and the other from Senate Majority Leader George J. Mitchel. Both have been used and the Mitchell mug has been repaired (see photo closeup).

The 3 Barack Obama shot glasses are from the 2008 (First) Obama Inauguration.

The Bill Clinton M&Ms were given out at the White House Mess for people who worked in the White House and their guests. They were a replacement for the cigarettes that used to be given out before it was no longer seen as healthy to be smoking.

The glasses read in gold: "President Richard Nixon's Visit To Belgium and the Soviet Union June - July 1974"
On the back of the glasses is a stylized picture of the White House in white and gold.

These were given out as a courtesy to the press on the White House Press plane that accompanied President Nixon on international trips. A friend of mine who covered the Richard Nixon White House gave these to me years ago.

Glasses Measurements:
Height: 3 3/8 inches
Diameter: 3 1/4 inches
Base diameter: 2 7/8inches
Weight: 7.8 oz (220 grams)

$59 cash only please, no tax.
