This is a real interesting Artwork. It's unique design with textured stripe will be a real conversation piece when hanging on your living room wall. This is a large ceramic pottery plate, hand thrown and painted. The glaze appears to be metallic. It had been hanging in my mom's Florida apartment for years. 17.5" in diameter. It's heavy - about 10 lbs. The artist name is Bolu, done in 1977, but I can't seem to find any information about him, and so the piece's provenance was lost with my mom's passing. All in all, it's a very cool piece of art. Could be a find!
My mom collected antiques her entire life. She loved going to flea markets and thrift stores in search of hidden treasures. Now that she has passed I am selling off her collection.
