The original painting (Changed) was created entirely by brush on heavyweight muslin in casein, a paint derived from milk or soy protein, and is in the possession of the artist as part of her personal collection.
The original work of art was first captured digitally in a professional photography studio, full scale (38” x 86”), to ensure the finest possible resolution, and a full size “test proof” was printed and compared to the original. Because the medium of ink is different from the original paint used, fine adjustments were made to the print file and additional proofs were made until the artist was satisfied with the result. The final print was created using a sophisticated giclée ink-jet printer that sprays microscopic dots of ink at high density onto archival quality canvas. The print is finished with a 3-coat matte UV protective spray.
This limited edition archival giclée print was made in the USA and is #12 out of 25 (numbered on the back) and personally signed by the artist on the front. Certificate of authenticity, personally signed by the artist, included in sale. Framed with 1 1/4" stretcher bars with internal support with hanging wire, professional gallery wrapped and stapled on back. Note: there is no white matting (the white surrounding the image is due to shrinking the unusual, large image size into the Craigslist photo size). Condition: like new.
Original cost: $2500 + $690 = $3190. Remaining editions of this print sell directly from the artist unframed for $2500. The cost of professional, wrapped framing with internal support was an additional $690.00 so this is an unbelievably great deal for a framed Papandreas Limited Edition.
Care: keep out of direct sunlight, periodically dust lightly with a feather duster.
