Our client, a well known retail company is looking for a new Payroll Manager to join their growing team. The company is located in Midtown Manhattan and the Payroll Manager will be reporting in to the Finance and Accounting Team. There may be supervisory opportunity. This is a vital role for this growing company.

Salary/Rate: $30-35/hr| $60-75k

Position Overview: The ideal Payroll Manager will have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be communicative. The Payroll Manager candidate will have a strong in- depth understanding of payroll procedures, laws, taxes, and processes. They will also be tech savvy and experienced with UltiPro.

Responsibilities of the Payroll Manager:

• High volume of bi-weekly payroll
• Union + Benefit Experience
• International payroll
• PTO Accruals
• Multi-State Payroll Policies
• Set up new employees accounts and information
• Exception and variance reporting
• More projects and responsibilities as needed

Qualification for the Payroll Manager:

• 2-7 years’ experience
• System savvy; Excel, ERP (UltiPro)
• Can lead a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Positive & professional

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree required
