I am being vulnerable & putting myself out there...
I've been renting for 23 years in NY, 3 times in Hicksville, room rentals mostly, but my last place here, for 6 years, my own small first floor apartment, under unique circumstances for a unique person, but now the house has sold.
We all know how high the marketplace is right now...
I've been paying half of what marketplace is for rooms these days. I don't have more...but people go down for me for the RIGHT person into their place.
but right now it's getting harder & harder to find good trusting people & another good unique situation I've always rented before,
so if you have a private office with toilet/sink or some type of other situation that can help me out right now, reach out with full details. I realize it wouldn't work for just anybody, but I'm not like anyone else you will meet...
Move ASAP but cannot move in with just any joe schmoe.
I am trying to come up with unique ideas for a special rare good person, ( me!) in order to have some type of roof over my head, again
For me, my tortoise I've had since a child & my belongings.
Needs to be private.
I am very smart & have been doing this a very long time.
I do not need any suggestions/links etc
Only looking for personal word of mouth circumstances, if you have something personally first hand, or you know someone.
I can help out with the property in many ways on my own doing.
Mowing the lawn, taking in the mail, taking out the garbage, organizing, vacuuming, ++
I would love to stay in Hicksville.

I realize these circumstances wouldn't work for the average person, but nothing about me is average.
I'm not like anyone else you will find out there.
I do not smoke, I do not do drugs. I do not drink. I do not have company. I do not party. I do not cook. I don't need to share a living room & quite frankly even though I always shared a kitchen before, I don't need to necessarily share it anymore, if you don't want that, as I have my own fridge & microwave which is the most important. I realize what's important in life...
I need an empty private space/area for me, my stuff & my tortoise.
I don't have giant furniture like everyone else has. I like to keep it smaller to carry most things myself.
I have 20, regular size bins (18 gallon), that I can stack, but I like to use the top surfaces for things to put down on, since I don't use regular furniture.
I have a few light weight wicker pieces (deciding to sell a couple).
I have my tortoise tank.
2 bicycles. (Deciding to sell one that was my back up)
Just a full mattress (no headboard, no baseboard, no box spring)
a fridge.
& obviously all misc. things.
I do come with a life, but I'm an organizer as my profession so you know things will be very neat & organized.
I help people pack & unpack for moves or general organizing in the home.
Not much adds up to anything these days...
As you know we all have our other bills as well.
I need to go somewhere, with trustworthy, honest, good, real people.
I also love the elderly if you know of any situation where someone doesn't like to be home alone at night, to work something else out instead. (as long as their mind is sharp).

Basically if you have some vacant area in Hicksville, to get me out of this situation between moves for the first time in my life, where the house sold & that it was my time to go, please reach out. &
You must be very detailed, so we're not wasting each other's time & I'm not about to pull teeth all day long.

I am considerate of property & utilities. I was brought up to lock doors, close things up, etc.etc.

I am not on any government assistance & was never & will never be.
I make sure that I don't live out of my means & buy $1 sale foods & buy everything myself.
I stay on a strict budget only buying food, hygiene & paying bills.
I am a very independent intelligent person that knows what I am doing & all I'm seeking is another (GOOD roof),
I won't move just anywhere or with anyone,
needs to be the right unique circumstances.
I am just looking to get out of this situation to continue "life"....
When searching for another place to live, your life stops & instead it's just being scared everyday "where am I going to be next".....

As a renter our place is never guaranteed, a roommate is always moving or the house is being sold.
Normal circumstances when having to move.

I help people everyday, how I can in my own way...whether it's in the stores, outside, online or anywhere else.....it makes me feel good in life...I'm now in need of help....
(please note: that I've been doing this for 23 years now, a long time! I do not need any suggestions/advice/links, other than word of mouth from a real person who has their own home with a potential situation first hand or knows someone personally. I have my own belongings, my reptile & good person myself & cannot move just anywhere with anyone. I am only looking for specific real circumstances & cannot move in with many characters who I don't know. That's not how I do things.
