Job Description
We are seeking a reliable box truck / straight truck driver who is interested in learning to operate roll‑off dumpster trucks. This position is ideal for a dependable driver with commercial driving experience who is safety‑focused, eager to learn, and comfortable working on construction sites and in residential neighborhoods.
The right candidate will be trained to operate roll‑off equipment while learning proper safety, placement, and DOT compliance standards.
Responsibilities
Safely operate roll‑off dumpster trucks to deliver, pick up, and swap containers
Secure loads properly and ensure compliance with DOT regulations
Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections and report any mechanical issues
Accurately complete tickets, logs, and daily paperwork (paper or digital)
Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and job site personnel
Place dumpsters according to company and municipal regulations (wood blocks, proper placement, etc.)
Maintain a clean and safe vehicle at all times
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Requirements
Valid Class B CDL
Clean driving record
Roll‑off experience preferred
Ability to safely operate trucks in tight spaces and on uneven ground
Knowledge of DOT rules and local weight limits
Punctual, dependable, and safety‑minded
