Job Description:
We are a growing high-end tile installation company seeking a Tile Helper to assist our lead installer on residential projects. This position is ideal for someone who already has basic tile experience and wants to continue learning the trade while working on quality installations.
You will assist with day-to-day jobsite tasks and help keep projects running efficiently.
Responsibilities:
• Load and unload tools and materials
• Prepare and clean job sites
• Mix thinset and mud
• Spread thinset and assist with tile setting
• Back-butter tiles when needed
• Make basic cuts using tile saws or grinders
• Assist with moving materials and setting up equipment
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
Requirements:
• Basic tile experience required (must understand back-buttering, mixing thinset, and spreading mortar)
• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Reliable transportation to job sites in NYC and Nassau County, Long Island
• Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical work
• Strong work ethic and reliability
