condition: excellent
Antique rare Oak Texas Step Down Dresser. Solid oak, paneled sides. Late 1800’s-turn of the century. Beautifully restored. I restored it myself…stripped, sanded, golden oak stained, low luster tung oil (hand applied) finish. Lots of quarter sawn oak displays its gorgeous tiger grain. Dresser is all original including the hardware. All drawer (and door) locks are original and working. Original key is also included.

I used a wall hung mirror behind the lower side of the piece (my preference). However, I am including an attachable solid oak nicely carved harp mirror frame that would mate to this perfectly! It’s a simple, elegant hand carved reproduction. Made by Mona Lisa Furniture in Brooklyn, New York (Google them). It would need to be stripped and stained with Minwax golden oak stain to match color (finished with tung oil, of course). Or, if you choose, use no mirror at all.

Dimensions:
Height: Higher (door) side 54”
Height: Lower side 46 1/2”
Width: 44 1/2”
Depth: 19 1/2” add 1 1/2” if measuring along top edge.

Moulding over hangs the edge, so it’s 21” deep if the top edge matters in any way.
