Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
- Assist in menu planning and food presentation.
- Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Participate in regular kitchen meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment (line cook/preps/expo)
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Culinary degree or relevant training is a plus (for chefs).
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
