The legendary Sansui AU-7900. Placing it into historical context; this is the upper-middle range of vintage analog goodness. Sansui was producing exceptional gear in this period, I would argue some of the very best ever made. Long story short, this is a stereo amplifier of significant provenance. This unit is a genuine timecapsule that is ready to be a workhorse for your analog home system.
The amp is fully functional. All inputs, outputs, switches and knobs have been tested. They all work properly, and there is no static on the knob turns. Power cord is intact, the indicator light works. The face is in excellent condition, the only scrapes here can be found on the sides and rear of the unit. Absolutely no major bumps or bruises. I am a great fan of the design language here, there's an elegance to it all. It's straightforward, utilitarian and a bit sinister. Appropriate given the sound output it is capable of. With the proper turntable and speakers, it will shake the foundations of your house :D
