An established and leading Precision Timing & Frequency Technology Firm are looking for a Mechanical Engineer

The Firm is seeking a Mechanical Engineer who thrives in environments where the ph is not fully defined, the problems are new, and the solutions require creivity, rigor, and teamwork. Their products span precision oscillors, advanced omic clocks, and emerging quantum‑sensing technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Design mechanical components and assemblies for high‑reliability electronic systems, from concept through detailed CAD models and drawings.
• Perform structural and thermal analysis using tools such as ANSYS Mechanical, Icepak, or equivalent numerical methods, complemented by hand calculions and first‑principles reasoning.
• Prototype, test, and itere on new designs, including hands‑on work in the lab to evalue mechanical and thermal performance.
• Collabore closely with electrical, firmware, manufacturing, and test teams to solve cross‑disciplinary challenges.
• Apply design‑for‑manufacturing principles including tolerance analysis, fastening methods, machining processes, and merial selection.

Qualificions:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a reled field
• Strong fundamentals in mechanics, he transfer, merials, and engineering fundamentals
• Experience with CAD tools
• Exposure to FEA, CFD, or thermal modeling tools, or the ability to learn them quickly

Salary: 115-135k base
