We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Construction Estimator to join our growing team. This role is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze project scope from plans, specifications and bid documents
• Perform material take-offs, labor calculations, and equipment pricing
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes
• Maintain estimating databases, and pricing software
Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in electrical estimating and electrical construction
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and construction methods
• Proficiency with estimating software
Preferred Qualifications
• Journeyman, Master Electrician, Engineering background
• Experience with NYC commercial and/or industrial projects
• Knowledge of local labor rates and electrical codes
